The progress for this tier is finally all over. Time to rest and relax, and/or start getting ready for the next batch of content.
There has been some disussion internally here at Manaflask whether the screenshot taking was exploited, since it was Kungen doing the SS and there's a boss in the picture AND everyone is in the frame and facing in the right direction. This clearly indicated something was wrong and we asked Kung to go see a doctor.
So Al'Akir was downed yesterday and apparently it wasn't that big of a deal so no one told me! Unfortunately it was only in 10 man. Why? I'm glad you asked:

Just thought I'd write some kind of an "explanation" why we went for Al'Akir 10man instead of the 25man version in case some of you were wondering. Al'Akir to me is a bit of a joke boss, he was supposedly unkillable for over 1 month and a half and then he gets stealth nerfed and an Asian guild kills him World First because of it.
After seeing Paragon kill it and seeing the setup they used we didn't feel that we wanted to go and bash our heads at it for a couple of days with a less than perfect setup (Sorry but we are not able to scrap together 19 players of a class that can reset stacks in P2). We decided to just go in and finish it off in 10 man instead and not "waste" any time that we could use to take a bit of time off after a month and a half of really draining progress.
However we then found out that he was badly nerfed in 25 man as well so we'll go in and kill it during the next couple of weeks instead, when we have some more free time. Looking forward to finishing off Nefarian in 25 man and to be done with the HORRIBLE instance that is Blackwing Descent.

That 10 and 25 raiding is deep shit, you can't really blame anyone simply because Blizzard once again **** up.
The level difference between 10hc and 25hc is pretty wrong too, you have encounters easier on 10hc and some much easier on 25hc. Not to say anything, but 10hc halfus is much harder then 25hc halfus - that is not excuse that we did not do it 25, just we decided to try a different approach.
Omg world first 10 man kill in heroic. This only shows the poor management skills of the guy whoever came up with this idea but hey its your choice and cant blame. Just sad to see that without Phil/Mek, Ensidia keeps going down in hardcore point of view.
Interesting to see how the big boys react on this but I guess many of them agree that 10 man is kinda cheap. Doesnt matter how hard or easy it is but 10 players are always easier to manage and its not really an epic experience.
Nice..GO ensidia and show the whole world that you can do it and that you are worlds best guild! Blizzard killed your image with the LK 25 world first ban but now cata bosses are harder so gogo and kill every boss world first!!!

I'll share some information for the little cry babies as well. We wanted to start early and a few healers were MIA so we had to go 10 man instead of 25 and we killed it. Simple as that. I'm also pretty sure that Halfus is harder in 10 man as well since you have to deal with boss +4 adds, which is extremely annoying when you're forced to use 2 tanks in 10 man since you won't have enough DPS otherwise.
It was also a WORLD FIRST WORLD FIRST WORLD FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WORLD FIRST!!!!!!!!!!
